A day that has spinned so fast yet so enjoyable.
One of those days you talk about something with someone and you start thinkin about it everytime you do what you and that someone were talking about. ...Still there? Ok, well. This afternoon I had an inspiring little conversation with my singing teacher about the fact that there's always something good to take from every experience, something to get in terms of positive energy or benefits in general, and that we always should try and look at every moment we're living with brand new eyes, in order to see and get the best of it. "Yeah, clear" one would say. It's something we already knew and heard a thousand times.
But stop and think about it just for a while.
It's just amazing the way building brand new eyes for ourselves with our own hands can make our life a big deal better. Negativity from people and facts cannot affect us or cannot do it the way it did before. It helps us not to depend from external factors when it comes to reactions. Of course, things happen and they cause a reaction in us. But when we have built positivity inside ourselves we already have it and just need to apply it.
Then everyone uses this capacity in his own way and that's normal and okay :)
And when we have our eyes and heart and mind strengthened with positivity, everything has new colors, new shape, new grain, new smell. Everything seems to expand itself in a way that goes beyond what we perceive from sensitive experience but yet it seems to be immanent in it.
And just yesterday I found a note on an old copybook of a quotation from my great History of Contemporary Art professor when I was at the first year in university. It said:
"Romanticism is seeing Infinity in everyday things"
Well...it must have been a sign :)
Or maybe I'm just an incurable Romantic soul, as I have always been.
